Click-Through Rate (CTR): - Average CTR: 2-5% - CTR indicates the percentage of recipients who clicked on one or more links in the email. 3. Bounce Rate: - Average Bounce Rate: Below 2% - Bounce rate represents the percentage of emails that could not be delivered. 4. Conversion Rate: - Average Conversion Rate: 1-5% - Conversion rate measures the percentage of recipients who took a desired action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form. 5. Unsubscribe Rate: - Average Unsubscribe Rate: Below 0.5% - Unsubscribe rate shows the percentage of recipients who opted out of receiving future emails. 6. Best Sending Day and Time: - The optimal day and time for sending emails can vary, but Tuesday and Thursday mornings often show higher engagement. It's essential to note that these are general benchmarks, and the performance of your email newsletter can be influenced by factors such as industry, audience, content quality, and the frequency of emails. At Hey You Social, our first approach is to conduct a high-level review of your landing pages, Google Profile, and Meta business profiles. We like to think of paid ads as part of a recipe for optimized success. It is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Many agencies charge a single fee to set up ads but overlook the backend of how the leads are converting. We do it differently. From the setup to the learning phase and everything in between, paid ads are a delicate dance between budget, optimization, and operations. In one case study, we had a client who was operating at $7 million a year in revenue. They had all the branding correct, the dispatch, the funds to run paid ads, and a regular marketing budget. Month after month, they were receiving 30+ leads for their home services company. Everything was going great until they hit a plateau. After a thorough evaluation of their accounts, it was determined that the leads were converting, and they were following through on their end. The problem was that the leads would go stale because the clients were not able to fulfill the service call in a timely manner. The demand on their operations and call center management revealed weak spots. Unfortunately, it was not something that could be fixed overnight, and throwing more money into paid ads only hurt their commitment to their customer base. People were frustrated and leaving bad reviews because a technician didn't show up when promised. Sure, this can happen a couple of times over a month without a direct negative impact on your company. But it also took its toll on the owners, their employees, and ultimately the agency. Paid ads are great, but they are a long game; there is no magic wand. For a seasoned company, it can move a lot faster, but for a new company just starting to dip their toe in paid ads, it can be a costly learning process. A few years ago, I was sitting at a desk pondering how things could be different. I was working for a seven-figure company targeting luxury, high-end vacation rental clients.
